Health and Safety

The Health & Safety portfolio provides support to LDC members through leveraging health and safety resources within the membership, addressing priority projects collaboratively and responding to special requests for support by LDCs.

This portfolio primarily focuses on training requirements, policies and procedures and overall operations to support LDCs improvement in the health and safety of workers, contractors and customers within the LDC. Specific duties include but are not limited to auditing, training, providing resources, delivering bi-annual workshops for front line staff, education and assistance, and coordination of health and safety training and meetings.
