Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

GIS support is the newest addition to the CHEC portfolios with six members contracting for the shared service provided by the CHEC GIS Technician.

The extensive knowledge and expertise in this position allows members to receive the support they need to effectively and correctly implement GIS systems into their processes and keep stride with the technical advances that are part of the changing industry, including integrating renewable energy resources, improving outage management systems, and meeting increased regulatory requirements.
